About the Camp

Every kid has something to offer the world.

Uplift is a structured, values-based 5-week summer program for youth ages 9–15. We blend academic enrichment, STEM, creative arts, media, entrepreneurship, leadership, outdoor play, and life skills so campers grow in confidence and discover what they're great at.

By the final Friday, every camper leaves with a personal portfolio — proof of what they made, learned, and accomplished.

Mind in Motion · University of Calgary

Two differentiated 1-hour STEM workshops every Thursday (10 AM – 12 PM), delivered by UCalgary facilitators. While one age group is in the workshop, the other completes a related portfolio activity.

Grand Showcase & Celebration

Families and community welcome — 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Campers present portfolio displays, project demos, and business pitches. Certificates and awards for every completing camper.

Simple, affordable, transparent.

Pay by e-transfer to info@oasisofgrace.ca (no surcharge) or by credit card at checkout (+3.75% processor fee). A $150/week deposit secures the spot. Balance due June 20, 2026.

FAQ

Parents ask. We answer.

What ages can attend?＋
Ages 9 to 15. Campers work in two cohorts — Group A (9–11) and Group B (12–15) — so activities match their stage.
Do I have to sign up for all five weeks?＋
No. You can pick any combination. Selecting all 5 weeks at registration applies an automatic $50 bundle discount ($350 instead of $400).
What does my child take home?＋
A personal portfolio: original art, a graphic-design / digital media sample, a STEM project, a mini business plan with brand kit, reflection journal, and a Grand Showcase certificate.
How do I pay?＋
E-transfer to info@oasisofgrace.ca (no fee), or by credit card on the registration site (a 3.75% processor surcharge applies). A $150/week deposit secures the spot; balance is due June 20, 2026.
What's the cancellation policy?＋
Refunds (less a $40 admin fee) are available for cancellations received before June 30, 2026. After July 6, 2026, no refunds except for medical withdrawals with a physician note.
What about allergies and medication?＋
All medical info is collected on the registration form and shared only with relevant camp staff and emergency services. Medications must be in original labeled containers and handed to the camp nurse on Day 1.
How is my child's information protected?＋
We collect personal information under Alberta PIPA and PIPEDA. Data is stored securely on servers hosted in Canada. We never sell or rent your information.
Who runs Uplift?＋
Uplift Summer Camp is operated by the Oasis of Grace Family and Multicultural Centre in Calgary, with Mind in Motion STEM workshops delivered by University of Calgary facilitators.
